When Size Really Matters

Have you ever come across that photo of yourself that you just couldn't believe was you? That you looked at and thought, wow have I really gotten this big? Its that moment when you admit how much weight you've put on & there's no denying that its' really time to do something about it.

So about this time last year that was me.. in complete denial about obvious weight gain that I was still calling "baby weight" when in actual fact my baby was no longer a baby! Looking back I let myself go for a number of reasons.. or should I say excuses..

Weight loss is a journey and one that everyone has to come to on their own terms. As much as others wanted me to do it, I had to want it for myself. Mostly I had to believe & take on all the day to day challenges of motivating myself to stay focused, keep eating well and yes exercise!

After my first 6 sessions of Hypoxi I lost 5 cm's on my stomach.. I finally started seeing my waist again and loved that results were easier than anything else I tried. After the first pack of Hypoxi I was so impressed that I wanted to open my own studio and motivate others that are overwhelmed by the challenges of weight loss.. And here I am 6 months later loving the results I've got and super inspired to motivate others make positive changes...
Being bigger back then I used to justify why it didn't matter.. I made myself believe that size shouldn't matter when really its about so  much more than that. But the reality is being overweight affects so many areas of your life starting from self confidence, your relationship with yourself, yr partner, children & then on a more serious level your health.

Its my goal this year to inspire and motivate 500 women and men to reduce 10% of their body weight which will in turn reduce their risk of Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, stroke and many other weight related illnesses.

I genuinely hope you enjoy reading our blog where I'll be sharing news, writing about our latest success stories and including tips. We'd love to hear from you too and let us know about anything that's worked for you and what hasn't too!
